You’ve stumbled across the Midwest Paddock Report. I say “stumbled” because we’re not quite operational yet.

That said…Welcome! Over the next month or so we’ll be building this site; getting it to look and feel the way we want it to.  Our primary goal is to draw attention to the racing industry in the Midwest through articles and pictures.  We’ll be starting out with our home base of Canterbury Park as well as Prairie Meadows and even some harness coverage at Running Aces Harness Park.  As we grow we’ll be looking to add Illinois, Indiana, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Ohio although there will be some coverage of these states in our “Around the Region” section.

With a two-person staff we’ll take some time to grow and we’re sure that we’ll encounter some growing pains, but we hope that you’ll bear with us and help us celebrate racing in the Heartland!
