Tuff Britt, the 3/2 favorite, took the field from gate to wire in the $15,000 Pepsi Stakes at Fonner Park Saturday.

Owned and trained by Ardell Sayler, Tuff Britt broke sharply and was challenged only briefly down the backstretch by Dancing with Silver before putting that rival away and cruising to a 3 1/2 length victory over Emmy Got Even and Misty Kitten.

Tuff Brit, ridden to the win by Larren DeLorme, covered the six furlongs in 1:15.2.

Tuff Britt returned $5.00, $2.80 and $2.40; Emmy Got Even, $5.40 and $3.60; Misty Kitten, $2.60.
