SHAKOPEE, MN – The 2021 Indian Horse Relays were conducted at Canterbury Park again this season after a one year hiatus due to the pandemic. Brought to Canterbury by the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community, the Relays have become a highlight of the racing season.
In addition to the main relay event, there was a Warrior Race this season as well as Maiden Race for women.
The main event was won, for the third time in the purple and lime green colors, by Brew Crew from the Oglala Lakota Sioux Nation. The members of the winner team are:

Set-Up Man: Stanley Brewer Jr.
