The front running La Sorta had things his own way in the $10,000 added Grasmick Stakes at Fonner Park on Saturday.

La Sorta outbroke the favored entry of Toastmaster and Runaway Raj and led from start to finish in the 4 furlong race under jockey Zack Ziegler.  First Toastmaster and then RunawayRaj took shots at corralling the frontrunner but it was a late run by Tribal Dreams that almost caught the 3.3-1 third choice with the latter coming up a neck short.

La Sorta paid $8.60 for the win, covering the distance in :47 flat.  Tribal Dreams paid $4.80 to place and favored Toastmaster paid $2.20 to show.
