SHAKOPEE, MN – per press release, the Minnesota Racing Commission has formally received the requests for 2025 live race days from Canterbury Park and is set to discuss them in its full commission meeting on December 19, 2024.

The release stated that Canterbury is requesting 51 days of live Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racing to begin on May 24, 2025, and end on September 20, 2025. The proposed calendar asks for racing on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday with post times starting at 5:00 PM. Sunday post times starting at 1:00 PM. Special holiday races and exceptions will have a 4:00 PM post time.
